How to Set a Subreddit Private

While monthly listeners means nothing when it comes to music quality, it is a good indicator on how popular an artist is within the current climate/generation.

Who do you regularly listen to who has less than 1 million monthly listeners?

I’ll go first - The Chameleons with barely 200k monthly listens.

I want everyone’s opinion on this song it is burned into my brain.

Inspired after finding out and going in deep to Kawaii Core this week. 😂

I’ve always found Depeche Mode and Red Hot Chili Peppers fun to say.

I appreciate the sentiment about Foo Fighters, they’ve got some classics but since Wasting Light it’s felt like they were spinning their wheels a little bit and lost a lot of the feel good replay value that their biggest hits and biggest albums had.

As a self confessed and massive fan, I can’t remember giving any of their albums a second listen since WL.

However, “But Here We Are” has me in a choke hold. It’s so different and so much more powerful than what I expected and I’ve been gutted not to hear much buzz about it on here. The singles released so far did good work to leave you unprepared for the emotions this one hits.

It’s their first album in years that felt like it had a purpose and had something to say and it’s a shame what they had to lose to make this happen. It’s cathartic and really resonates with me as someone who has suffered grief back to back like Dave Grohl has.

I’ve had it on repeat all week and I’m just happy to hear that my favourite band still have it 30 something years later.

Would love to hear other people’s thoughts

I saw Weezer the other day, and bought a shirt. At checkout, I was prompted to tip. I've noticed this at the last few concerts I've been to too(as well as happening at other places I would normally not tip). Am I now supposed to tip the merch table on a $40-$60 shirt?

Is that money going to the cashier or is Live Nation/Ticketmaster taking a cut of that too?

For most of my life, I've only really listened to rap and RnB music. Recently, the new Foo Fighters album grabbed my attention and I have really enjoyed it. I want to explore more similar artists and albums in the genre but I don't know where to start. Bands like American Football and the Pixies have grabbed my attention, so if you know any similar bands or have any recommendations for albums all is needed.

Hi, I love the artist 'Medasin's' new album "Always in a hurry'. In particular the titular track. I love this kind of music whenever I hear it but don't know what to look for when looking for more. Any recommendations. I like spacey, ambient stuff often but also love percussion focussed stuff. Usually songs with minimal lyrics. Not so much typical drum and bass stuff as usually doesn't appeal to me so much but I'll try whatever. Just had 'Always in a Hurry' kick in with the coffee at the gym and turned a panic attack into a new PR.

Any suggestions for stuff for me to try out, thanks in advance :)
